Hello, cousin Jazmin!

Jazmin Balón Barnes was born on February 25, 2003. She is Emma Rose’s first “first” cousin, the daughter to Jennifer Balón Barnes, Dan’s sister, and Brett Barnes, who is the first Barnes to celebrate this date as a birthday—yes, it may be why Jazmin waited an extra day (afterall, Jazmin was about two weeks early!).

Jazmin came into this world at 2:07 AM after as smooth as can be labor. They all are happy and well in their home in Bakersfield, California.

Lolo Balón and Grandma Dottie were practically in the car and on I-5 the minute news broke of the Jazmin’s arrival. Lola Balón and Tita Stephanie also planned a visit in her early days. We look forward to more beautiful pics of the gorgeous child.

Welcome, cousin! Emma Rose can’t wait to play with you!
